Family-owned & locally operated.
Concrete Driveways
A concrete driveway is one of the most visible and highest-use parts of your property. Done right, it lasts for decades with minimal upkeep. Done wrong, it cracks within a few winters.
At Goecks Concrete, we’ve been installing concrete driveways across Monroe and Green County long enough to know what fails and why. The single biggest factor is what happens before the truck arrives. Proper excavation, the right base depth, and solid compaction create a stable foundation that concrete can actually bond to without shifting.
We use mix designs appropriate for Wisconsin’s freeze-thaw climate and finish to the texture you prefer — standard broom finish for traction, or a smoother finish if you’re going with a coating later. Expansion joints are cut or placed to control where cracking occurs, not where it happens to.
- Proper subgrade excavation and compacted base
- Wire mesh or rebar reinforcement as appropriate
- Air-entrained mix for Wisconsin freeze-thaw cycles
- Broom, exposed aggregate, or smooth finish options
- Control joints placed to manage cracking
- New installs and full driveway replacements
Concrete Patios
A well-built concrete patio expands your usable living space and holds up year after year with far less maintenance than wood decks or paver alternatives.
We work with homeowners across Green County to lay out patios that fit the space correctly — accounting for drainage slope, house clearance, and how the space will actually be used. Whether you want a simple broom-finished slab for a patio set and grill, or something with an exposed aggregate or stamped texture, we can pour it.
Concrete patios in Wisconsin require a solid base and a proper mix. We don’t cut corners on either. The result is an outdoor space that looks clean, drains correctly, and won’t heave or crack through the first hard freeze.
- Custom shape and size to fit your yard
- Broom, exposed aggregate, and stamped finish options
- Proper drainage slope away from the foundation
- Base preparation for long-term freeze-thaw stability
- Steps and transitions integrated cleanly
- Low maintenance — no sealing, staining, or re-sanding required
Sidewalk Installation
Cracked, heaved, or uneven sidewalks are a tripping hazard and an eyesore. We install sidewalks that stay level, drain properly, and meet code requirements in Monroe and across Green County.
Whether you need a front walk replaced, a new path from the driveway to a side entrance, or a complete sidewalk system around the property, we set everything up right from the base down. Clean joints, proper slope, and a consistent finish make for a walk that functions well and looks sharp for years.
We handle both partial section replacements — for cases where only a few slabs are damaged — and full sidewalk installations for new construction or complete overhauls.
- Full replacement and new installation
- Partial section or panel replacement available
- Proper cross-slope for water drainage
- Control joints placed at code-appropriate intervals
- Broom-finished for safe traction in all seasons
- Steps and curb transitions included
Garage Floors
A flat, properly drained garage floor makes the whole space more functional. It’s also the slab that takes more abuse than any other — vehicles, salt, oil, and temperature swings — so it has to be built right.
We pour garage floors to the right thickness for the application, use mix designs appropriate for interior use, and finish to a smooth, cleanable surface. For attached garages, we ensure the slab is sloped correctly toward the door for drainage. For detached garages and new construction, we coordinate pour timing with the build schedule.
If you’re having a garage addition or new outbuilding constructed through Gesegnet Construction, we can handle the slab as part of the same project, keeping things streamlined.
- 4″ standard residential, 5″–6″ for heavier vehicle use
- Proper slope toward door for drainage
- Steel or fiber reinforcement options
- Smooth, hard-troweled finish for easy cleaning
- New construction and existing garage replacement
- Coordinated with Gesegnet Construction builds
Concrete Slabs
If something is going on top of concrete, that concrete needs to be sized and prepared for the load. We pour slabs for sheds, pole buildings, hot tub pads, utility areas, and any other application that needs a solid, flat foundation.
Slab work that fails usually does so because the base wasn’t right, the thickness wasn’t appropriate for the load, or control joints weren’t placed to manage movement. We plan each pour correctly before we start — right thickness, right reinforcement, right base depth for the soil conditions on your property in Monroe or Green County.
For property owners building new outbuildings or adding covered outdoor structures, we work with Gesegnet Construction to coordinate the slab and the structure on the same timeline, so nothing’s waiting on the other trade.
- Sheds, outbuildings, and pole building pads
- Hot tub, generator, and mechanical pads
- Utility areas and covered outdoor spaces
- Thickness and reinforcement sized for actual load
- Base prep appropriate for Green County soil conditions
- Coordinated with construction schedules

Every project runs the same way — clear communication, proper prep, quality work, and a finished result you can count on.
Additional Services
Construction Services Through Gesegnet Construction
Goecks Concrete works in close partnership with Gesegnet Construction to offer a broader range of residential building services. When your project goes beyond a concrete slab, we can bring in the construction side to handle the structure on top of it — keeping you from having to coordinate multiple contractors.
This partnership is particularly useful for property owners planning pole buildings, garage additions, decks, or outbuildings. We pour the concrete; Gesegnet builds the structure. One point of contact, coordinated scheduling, and consistent quality across both trades.
